A contract is a legal transaction between two or more persons whose conditions are supported by law. The contract, which is a legal transaction made with the consent of the parties to each other, is not required to be concluded in a certain way in general, but certain types of contracts are stipulated in the law. For example, the contract of sale of immovable property must be made in a formal form. Making the contract in written form is also helpful in facilitating proof in case of disagreement.
In order for a contract to be formed, the mutual will of the parties must agree. The most fundamental principle in the law of contracts is the principle of freedom of contract. The parties have the freedom to regulate the legal relationship between them voluntarily as they wish.
